Asset Manager, Capital Transactions – Boston, MA


The Community Builders, Inc. (“TCB”) is a large, non-profit developer and manager of affordable housing based in Boston with properties in 14 states and regional hubs in Chicago and Washington, DC.

Located in TCB’s Boston office at 95 Berkeley Street, the Asset Manager, Capital Transactions will have primary asset management responsibility for portfolio assets in need of refinancing, restructuring, or disposition. This role will involve collaboration with personnel in other departments, including Property Management, Development, Finance, and Legal.

In addition, the Asset Manager, Capital Transactions will be responsible for representing the owners in the capital planning process. This role will involve collaboration with personnel in Property Management and Asset Management.

Requirements: The position requires: a minimum of five to seven years of experience in affordable housing asset management, including experience with refinancing and restructuring as well as physical assets and capital planning from an owner’s perspective, and a very strong ability to work independently. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience improving business processes in these areas. Other requirements for success in the position include:
