Community Builders focuses on coordinating effective, well-managed services to residents of our affordable and mixed-income developments. Over the past five years, we have honed a set of effective tools and practices, defined program outcomes and measures, and designed a robust reporting system to track progress in the areas of housing readiness, workforce-employment development, asset building, community building, youth development, educational enhancements, resident services, and elder services. In each of these program areas, we identify an approach that has been empirically demonstrated to produce results.
 
Case Management Information System (CMIS)

Community Builders invested substantial resources in developing a customized Case Management Information System to facilitate the day-to-day workflow of site-based case managers, support family and community outcomes measurement, and generate customized activity and progress reports for housing authorities, foundations, and other funders. The state-of-the-art web-based CMIS tracks all interactions with residents around individualized success plans, service referrals, program participation. Tracking more than 60 specific progress measures in areas such as employment/asset-building, youth development, educational attainment, and community building, site-level can be aggregated across our portfolio for analysis and program evaluation.
