Community Builders provides consulting services to local community
development corporations, local governments, colleges and universities,
and pension funds. As a hands-on operating organization with a large
and experienced professional staff we can offer Technical Assistance
in project development and comprehensive neighborhood revitalization
planning.
Since 1994, Community Builders has provided technical assistance
to numerous communities and 60 Community Housing Development Organizations
(CHDOs) under contract to the US Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD). In diverse areas such as community planning,
housing development, human services, property management, and economic
development through workforce development, we bring a disciplined
focus on implementation, backed by a consistent emphasis on effective
management of the disparate elements of a comprehensive neighborhood
revitalization effort.
Current HUD Technical Assistance contracts fund consulting engagements
across New England, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Indiana.
