Community Initiatives

The Community Builders also has its own Investor Services capability. This function was centralized in 1986 and was initially servicing thirteen limited partnerships. Today, three full-time staff members service over 500 individual, corporate and fund investors. The portfolio now consists of nearly 60 partnerships owning more than 70 properties in seven states. These partnerships include pre-1986 syndicated non-profit affordable housing deals, Low Income Housing Tax Credit projects, mixed-finance properties and HOPE VI developments.
