TCB Teams with FedEx, YMCA for Holiday Donations
PITTSBURGH, PA - December 29, 2010: This holiday season, The Community Builders, Inc. worked extensively with the Allegheny County FedEx Holiday Crew and the YMCA Angel Tree Program to raise donations of gifts for the children of Meyers Ridge, a mixed-income family rental community in McKees Rocks, PA. TCB's Meyers Ridge staff worked with FedEx and the YMCA to secure almost 300 gifts worth over $42,000. Gifts included bicycles, clothing, video game systems, books and art supplies.

In addition to the gifts at Meyers Ridge, donations were also provided to needy families at New Pennley Place, Penn Manor, East Liberty Place North, Forest Green and Negley Neighbors. This staggering outpouring of support provided almost 100 Pittsburgh families with an unforgettable holiday season. TCB is grateful to FedEx and to the YMCA for their support in 2010 and looks forward to working with them again in 2011.
