Tamara Dudukovich joined The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) in 1996 as a project manager in the Pittsburgh office. She presently directs real estate development activities within a seven-state area and manages a staff of five located throughout the region. In this capacity, Tamara has senior-level responsibility for implementing more than $102 million of development activity, mostly in transformative multi-family redevelopment projects in distressed urban neighborhoods.
In addition, Ms. Dudukovich has launched and managed award-winning neighborhood transformation efforts in Pittsburgh, Akron, and Chicago, which have involved raising in excess of $90 million in state, local, and private funding to support production of more than 430 affordable and market-rate housing units for general and special populations including the elderly. She has experience utilizing major federal housing initiatives including ARRA, HOPE VI, HOME, CDBG, and Section 202 programs, and combining these resources with funds leveraged through various state housing finance agencies, the Federal Home Loan Bank, and private lenders.
Prior to becoming a developer, Ms. Dudukovich worked in nonprofit program administration and as a consultant for a national technical assistance provider. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago.
