Tony Berthod
Tony Berthod joined The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) in May 1985 as a Maintenance Supervisor shortly after receiving his honorable discharge from the United States Navy. He has worked for TCB ever since and has learned the property management business from the ground up. Mr. Berthod was promoted to Property Manager in 1995 and was soon promoted again to the position of Senior Property Manager. During that time he earned the (ARM) Accredited Resident Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, the (LIHTC) Low income Housing Tax Credit Certification from Spectrum including his Certified Occupancy Specialist designation.
Mr. Berthod's experience includes a variety of affordable housing programs such as Section 8, PRAC, 236, BMIR, LIHTC and Home programs serving the elderly, disabled and family populations. He was promoted to Portfolio Manager in 2005 and is currently responsible for multiple properties located in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
