Wanda Langley
Wanda Langley joined The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) in August 2010 and holds the position of Portfolio Manager. Ms. Langley currently oversees 950 residential units, comprised of HUD Section 8, HUD 202, LIHTC, PHA, HOME and HOPE VI financing at 14 properties that are located across four states. As Portfolio Manager she is responsible for the day-to-day operations and compliance as well as supervision and training of over 30 employees.
Ms. Langley has over 20 years of experience in affordable, conventional, and commercial property management as well as development and construction of affordable communities. Her expertise is in multi-tiered financing and owner focused communities. While at TCB, she has successfully increased her portfolio's performance in all key areas. She enjoys excellent relationships with government agencies, including the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and local Public Housing Agencies, as well as investors and other regulatory agencies.
Prior to joining TCB, Ms. Langley was a Regional Property Manager for The Shelter Group where she oversaw more than 1,250 units of affordable and market rate units in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.
Ms. Langley currently holds the designation of Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Site Base Budget Specialist (SBS).
